Service to the community is at the heart of what Cable Bahamas stands for. Through meaningful partnerships with organizations dedicated to improving lives, we continue to invest in the people and communities we serve.
One such partnership is with the Kiwanis Club of Fort Montagu, whose mission of service aligns closely with Cable Bahamas’ commitment to community development. Recently, Cable Bahamas supported the club’s Third Quarter Meals on Wheels Project through a donation of tents, tables, chairs and manpower.
The support helped Kiwanis serve more than 250 hot meals and distribute 200 grocery bags to individuals and families in need throughout the community.
“The generous support from Cable Bahamas Group of Companies has made a tremendous impact on the Kiwanis Club of Fort Montagu and the communities we serve,”- President of Kiwanis, D’yanndria Saunders-Curry “This initiative reflects our theme for the year, ‘Hearts for Service, Compassion in Action,’ by turning compassion into tangible support for vulnerable persons.” – President of Kiwanis, D’yanndria Saunders-Curry
Kiwanis noted that community partners like Cable Bahamas play a critical role in helping non-profit organizations meet growing community needs. Beyond financial contributions, corporate partnerships provide resources, visibility, volunteer support, and encouragement that help expand the reach and effectiveness of service projects.
The Kiwanis Club of Fort Montagu said it chose to partner with Cable Bahamas because of the company’s longstanding reputation for giving back and its demonstrated commitment to supporting communities throughout The Bahamas.
Together, Cable Bahamas and Kiwanis are helping to uplift communities, restore hope, and improve lives through meaningful action and service.
