ALIV Helps Bahamian Families Stay Close Every Day

Motherhood is built on everyday moments: the quick phone calls after work, the “Did you eat yet?” texts, and the comforting reassurance that your kids are safe and sound.

ALIV celebrated the mothers who make those moments possible with a special
Spin to Win activation at Mall at Marathon, giving back to the women who keep families connected every single day.

It’s easy to overlook the value of constant connection, but longtime ALIV customer Alexandria Seymour shared that dependable service, and reliable data are essential to her life as a mom of three.

Freedom 45 is her plan of choice.

“I like that I get unlimited data and talk time,” she explained. “It’s the data I really love, though. WhatsApp is my main method of communication.”

With her three children now young adults, Seymour says ALIV’s reliable network helps her stay close to her family no matter where they are.

“There are hardly any dropped calls,” she said. “I’m able to get into contact with them any time I need to.”

For Seymour and her children, those moments of connection became especially meaningful during the years her kids were beginning to experience independence for the first time.

When mom went off to work and the kids suddenly found themselves responsible for their own meals, there was only one solution: call mom.

“Mom normally cooked for us, so we had to call her,” her daughter laughed.

Standing beside her mother at the activation, she fondly recalled the many impromptu cooking lessons held over the phone. What started as quick calls for help eventually became recipes and traditions the children now carry with them into adulthood.

It’s often the simplest moments that leave the greatest impact. A recipe reminder during a stressful evening. A quick check-in after a long day. A call home just to hear your mother’s voice.

Every day is a new reason to connect with your loved ones. ALIV is proud to celebrate the mothers who continue to hold families together through love, guidance, and connection, while providing a network families across The Bahamas can rely on every day.
