Stories of Connection: The Strength of a Mother-Daughter Bond

This Mother’s Day, we sat down with the powerhouse duo behind Benz Bodies—Camille and Blayre—to talk fitness, family, and the bond that built a business. What started as a personal journey for mother-daughter pair quickly turned into a movement to empower women through strength training in a space where they could truly be themselves.

“We weren’t getting exactly what we wanted from the traditional coaching that was available,” said Camille. “So, we created what was lacking for us – a women’s only space.”

For Blayre, her favorite part of being in business with her mother is knowing her partner inside-out. “I trust her because I’ve known her my entire life,” she shared. “We have each other’s backs straight off the bat.” The two bring different strengths to both the business and the gym floor, feeding off each other’s energy and supporting each other’s vision. On the rare occasion they don’t see eye to eye, they turn to their head of logistics and trusted advisor – Blayre’s sister.

“My favorite memory in the business is October 1st,” Camille beamed. “When everything came together and we were actually opening, the feeling was indescribable.”

The only thing stronger than their mother-daughter duo is their ALVIFibr connection. When it comes to running their business, they are no-nonsense about their internet reliability.

“First of all, ALIVFibr is the best,” Blayre insists. “We have members that come in an hour before class and set up. They go through their work hours with no issues.” With a mandatory check-in system in place and a community that relies on seamless connectivity, there’s no room for unreliability.
