“This [song] was just a prayer for me, setting the tone for the year…” he explained. “As an artist, you put something out to hold you over until you release the official thing, but that ended up being the one that went viral.”

On the night of his album launch concert in The Bahamas, Sherwin received an extraordinary honor.


“At the show, I received the plaque that we just crossed over 2 billion views on TikTok,” he shares. According to him, there’s only one explanation for what happened. “The only thing I could say is that this was just something that Goр sprinkled the salt on, and it ended up being a blessing.”

The song struck a particular chord with many people across nations. Sherwin has formed a special connection with his listeners, witnessing the ways his writing has evolved as an anthem of motivation. “I’m still seeing the power of the song-even in one of the ads that we put up for the. show. I have an ad that basically says, ‘This is where it all started, and that went viral as well!”

“Technology has made the world smaller,” he said. “Now, I can do something in my studio right here in The Bahamas, and it can reach places that I can’t even imagine.”
