CABLE BAHAMAS BRINGS FITNESS AND FUN TO LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Nassau, Bahamas [January 29th, 2025] – Cable Bahamas closed out the month of January on a high note with its two-weekend fitness initiative Fibr Fit.

Over 200 individuals flocked to Golden Gates Assembly Park and Goodman’s Bay to participate in a high-energy Zumba and dance workout, forming a vibrant celebration of wellness and connection. Partnering with fitness groups Move with Myra and Peach Fitness, Fibr Fit created an inclusive space where attendees were able to work out, have fun and connect with others. Each session offered a unique and challenging experience designed to motivate people to let loose while prioritizing their fitness goals.

“We wanted to kick off the year with something truly memorable,” said Myra Farquharson, certified Zumba instructor of Move with Myra. “Fibr Fit was all about demonstrating ALIVFibr’s ability to connect people. We created a safe space for people to come out, have fun and get fit in a supportive, open environment.”

This successful initiative marks just the beginning for Cable Bahamas, which plans to host additional Fibr Fit events throughout the year, further solidifying its commitment to community engagement.

As we continue rolling out ALIVFibr throughout New Providence, initiatives like Fibr Fit allow us to create meaningful connections beyond providing reliable internet,” said Amber Carey, Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Solutions. “Seeing so many people from different communities come together and embrace the energy of these events was inspiring. ALIVFibr isn’t just about fast speeds – it’s about enhancing our entertainment experience and fostering connection.”

As ALIVFibr continues to expand its reach, Fibr Fit is a shining example of Cable Bahamas’ mission to use technology to elevate the everyday Bahamian experience.
